Fish Tikka Kabab at Home on the Stovetop

We all like meat kebabs, so today I brought a different kind of kabab recipe for the kabab lovers, Fish tikka kabab.

This special fish kebab will bring novelty to the guest entertainment. If you have a party at home, you can get an extra dish with this very easy recipe in no time.

Ingredients:

·            Tilapia Fish (Boneless fillet 10 pieces)

·         Onion Paste - ½ Cup

·         Garlic Paste – 2 Tablespoons

·         Garam Masala – 1 Tablespoon

·         Red Chili Powder – ½ Teaspoon

·         Paprika – ½ Teaspoon

·         Black Pepper Powder – ½ Teaspoon

·         Salt – ½ Tablespoon

·         Red Food Color –½ Teaspoon

·         Soy Sauce – 1 Teaspoon

·         Lemon Juice – 1 Tablespoon

·         Turmeric powder  –½ Teaspoon

·         Sun-dried Fenugreek Leaves – 1/4 Teaspoon

·         Mustard Oil – 1 Tablespoon

Cooking instruction:.

At first, we need to make the marinating spice paste.

In a mixing bowl, put all the spices and mix it well.

When done, add the fish fillet one by one and put a thin layer of marinating spices with a spatula on the both sides of fillets.

With these well measured spices, we will be able to marinate 10 pieces boneless tilapia fillet.

Cover the marinated fish and place the bowl in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

After one hour, take the bowl out of the refrigerator and it is ready to go on the grill pan.

At this point, we will be able to see that the fish turned orange color for proper marinating.

There are 3 ways to cook this kabab.

You can grill it on outdoor charcoal grill or

broil it in the oven at 375 Degree Fahrenheit for 35 minutes until it turns golden brown,

or you can cook on the stove top by using a grill pan.

Whichever cooking method you use, the taste is going to be almost same.

Be sure to cook both side of the fish. Serve with mash potato, brown rice, or garlic bread. Enjoy the Fish Tikka Kabab at home and let me know how it was!
